Howdy y’all! I'm passionate about making a real difference in the LGBTQ+ community. My work ain't just a job – it's a calling that stems from my own experiences growing up in Brazoria County.

Why This Matters to Me

Growing up queer in Brazoria County wasn't always easy. After experiencing a ludicrous level of bullying and hate in both school and church settings, I made a promise to myself: if I ever had the platform and means (with good help), I would create the safe spaces I wished I had as a young person in my hometown. That promise has evolved into a mission to ensure no other LGBTQ+ person feels alone in our community.

A Little Bit About Myself

As a lifelong resident of Brazoria County (with a brief 1.5 year adventure in Dallas after high school), this community is truly my home. When I'm not working to make our county more inclusive, you might find me at my main office working in the bio-tech, with my Mama and chosen family, at a Taylor Swift concert or traveling around making priceless memories with my life hero the Queen of Country herself, Dolly Parton.

My Journey

• Beginning: My journey with LGBTQ+ advocacy started in college, where I helped establish Brazosport College's Pride group with some amazing dedicated professors and students. I had just met my life hero Dolly Parton and was tackling my bucket list when we formed the county’s historic first ever Pride group! I was working in film & television at the time learning all the industry standards for self promotion, and applied all I learned to our benefit.

• Growth: I had make a 2 bucket lists and checked them off before I turned 30 while working in retail, modeling, and as a director of catering.  So when friends reached out saying "WE NEED YOU!" I dove headfirst into helping form Brazoria County Pride, then start as Director of Digital Media to bring awareness to our programming.

• Blossomed: In January 2025, I was unanimously elected as President & Executive Director of Operations, allowing me to expand my vision for inclusive community building.

Cool Stuff I've Done

• Led the transformation from "Brazoria County Pride for Youth" to the comprehensive Brazoria County Pride Organization with specialized divisions

• Secured top-tier entertainment and elevated event design for our family-friendly pride festivals

• Created and launched the vision for our Project Love Valentine's Gala

• Recognized as a Top Leader Under 40 in Brazoria County by The Facts Newspaper (2024)

• Named a finalist for Houston's Favorite LGBTQ+ TikTok'er by Outsmart Magazine

• Successfully helped LGBTQ+ student scholarships

• Developed and executed family-friendly pride festivals that unite our entire community

My Hopes for the Future of Brazoria County Pride

My vision is to continue breaking down barriers and building bridges across our county. I dream of expanding our scholarship program, creating more innovative community events, and fostering an environment where understanding and acceptance are the norm, not the exception. I believe in cultivating a community of people driven toward excellence that fosters change and progression. With our dedicated team and supportive community, I'm confident we can create lasting positive change that will impact generations to come.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
